Our Family: Bob, Mary, Amy n Juan, and Greg....SINCE June 14, 2015 !!!!!!!!!!

DEC. 20, 2017  We're much in prayer for Alma, Juan's younger sis.  Check out front page for news; and Mary's facebook.

Nov. 23 Juan enters Juarez; Nov. 28 at 6 a.m. he comes back, by grace!
Nov. 9   Juan gets his 2nd interview at Victory WC; for parttime job there.  Pray!
Nov. 4 Greg started 3 more months of volunteering at Riverside BC in Amherst, WI.
Oct. 11 Yay for Bob and Jane Jackson; 40 yrs. of wedded bliss!
Sept. 14; cool birthday for Mom Mulloy.

March 31.  I (bob) had a wonderful birthday on the 12th...maybe the best ever.  I'm holding my breath as April will be here in a few hours.  Looks like it will be a whirlwind.  I'll be hanging on for dear toupe.
Amy and fiancee Juan are enjoying prepping for their June 14 wedding in Ft.Worth, TX.  Just a few hundred things to do. Planning a reception for them here on April 18 at 1pm.  Come on! They'll be renting a basement of a home (in Atlanta) owned by C. American friends.
Greg hopes to finish all high school graduation prereqs by April 30.  We're so proud of him!  Hoping to have a grad party on May 8th.  Join us!
IF COMING TO EITHER, pls rsvp to my cell 251.714.0165, or email bobmulloy4@yahoo.com
Mary Em has enjoyed being with Mama a few times already this year.  So glad that mom-in-law is bouncing back from med challenges. She's a trooper!

JAN. 28, 2015
We need to get Juan in this picture asap.  Wedding date is June 14, 2015, but he's already fam.

JULY 18.  Do ya think it's time I updated this page? 'Nuf said. The best thing you can do, and probably are, is scanning the homepage.  Anyhow, since January....
Mary Em continues to heal from cancer.  Yay!!!!!!!  Thanks to prayer, exercise, and green smoothies!  They only taste terrible for three weeks.  That gives time for taste buds to hibernate forever.
Amy is plugging away at her Mon to Fri job at Gwinnett county, looking forward to Sept. 28 when she flies to Dallas for 5 months with YWAM. We're SO, SO, SO PROUD OF HER.  You can follow that adventure at her blog, http://sharinghislove.weebly.com .  She is actively seeking team members who will pray for her ministry and assist financially.
Greg finished up well at Trikkum Middle School in May, visited Wisc. friends/fam the end of May, did two summer courses for high school...in June... and is now (as we speak) enjoying grandma's hospitality in Alabama.  She's spoiling him so bad!  The first night, Tuesday, he got fried catfish, his favorite.  He and Mary are supposed to be back to Atlanta this Saturday, the 20th, but who knows?  When I see the whites of their eyes!
I, bob, continue to be humbled by the faith and perseverance of international refugees that God is bringing into our lives.  Yes, we serve them fulltime...but we are immeasurably inspired by them.  Come see us, and meet them.  You'll see, and be changed too.

JANUARY 2013
20 We got to visit Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany today, where FOUR AMAZING FILMS have been made: Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous.  (see homepage)
18 Mary finished her Master's degree today!
5 HAPPY NEW YEAR in what may be the most wonderful year in history: because JESUS is coming back.  Maybe today.  Maybe this hour!  It's so good to belong to the King.
Christmas was busy and happy, the best part being that Amy moved back home from Birmingham.  Not sure how long it will be before she moves on to another job/place, but we're enjoying every second of these days.
We enjoyed having grandma Heard with us for Christmas, then spending a few days at her home in Mville.
Greg immensely enjoyed his vacation for a couple weeks.
Mary Em is doing admirably in her present challenges of life!  God plus one is a majority.
I (bob) am inspired that the Almighty specializes in using wimps for His glory, so of course i'm eminently qualified.  Enjoyed watching "Here Comes The Boom" last night with Amy n Greg.  Hope the Packers do well tonight.
LOOKING forward to Mary Em getting back to Atlanta tomorrow.
Missing my family in Wisconsin, but not the snow.
Missing friends in Asia, but not the heat, bugs, etc.
GOD IS GOOD everywhere though, so my suitcase is ready when He is.
:)

Nov. 1, 2012
Sooo long since I've updated this.  Sooo sorry. My family is immensely, indescribably blessed as we see the Almighty lover of our souls do beautiful things in us, and through us.  We are not without weakness, sin and urgent needs.  But because Jesus rose from death, we too are empowered to rise above all the challenges that you and I face in a broken, hurting world.  So good to know the Shepherd personally; Psalm 23.

Check out the Home page.  It's updated as of today, July 2, 2012, Amy's birthday.
I'm bummed to be about 10 thou miles away, but I'm pumped that she's beautiful inside and out.  Happy Bday, AMY.  I love you!

Greg is doing well at Trikkum Middle School (public) just 7 minutes away...making good friends, seeing 'old' ones, and learning stuff too!  Will start 8th grade in August.
Amy graduated CUM LAUDE from Bryan College on May 5, 2012.  Looking for a job now as a teacher's assistant, hopefully somewhere between grades 1 and 3.
Mary Em is cruising along in women's ministry among refugees, as well as making great progress on her M.A. in ESL (corresp. through U. of Phoenix).  Superwoman!  Just three courses left.
What about Bob?  He's dubious about the stature of hitting 30 for the thirtieth (plus) time, but seems to be holding up well enough.  SO GLAD TO BE on this 18 day ministry trip in Asia, and leading 9 people to Christ today, Amy's bday.  So glad that the gospel IS THE POWER OF GOD TO SALVATION TO ALL WHO BELIEVE and receive; Romans 1.

Ancient history:
Summer 2011: Greg enjoyed 3 camps: Basketball here in Lilburn in June, Bible/fun at Covenant College in TN in July, and soccer n softball camps in Wisc in July.

Aug. 8.  Greg started 7th grade!
Aug. 3-5 Mary, Amy n Greg got to visit grandmama Heard in Monroeville, AL.

July 31 Amy arrived back from NC just in time for Greg's bday in Atlanta.

July 2 We got to visit Amy on her birthday, at Ridgecrest camp in Montreat, N.C..
June 9 Amy arrived safely back from Manila.
June 1 PTL that Josie was welcomed into a wonderful foster home, thanks to the love of pastor Bogs Nartatez and family in Davao, Philippines.

May 27th Mary arrived safely back in Atlanta.  Yeah!  One of her tasks was to enroll Josie in high school and provide a Christian home for her to move to closer to the school.  God did it all, including providing a place and 'her own room' in a the home of pastor Bogs.
We're SO proud of Amy, helping out these last few weeks at Faith Academy in Manila.  Will be so glad to see her back home in Atlanta on June 9th.
May 25th Greg finished 6th grade.  Well done, dear Greg!
May 10 Mary and Amy left for Manila.

April 26  Amy was home for Easter break, 4 days, which we enjoyed immensely.  She has only 8 more days before she finishes school this term and is officially a SENIOR then.  God has worked out some pretty cool plans for her this summer, in the Philippines and then North Carolina.  Let us know if you want the scoop; bobmulloy4@yahoo.com
GREG received his report card yesterday.  It is truly stunning; he is doing so well!!!  His Bible teacher (Mrs. Meyer, the pastor's wife from 12 Stones fellowship) says he knows his Bible very well; he earned a 99 grade in her class this quarter, so we're VERY PROUD of him!!!
Mary Em is doing admirably on her M.A. courses in ESL.  We were proud to have her mom her for a few days over Palm Sunday weekend.

January 17
It was marvelous to have Amy home for Christmas, almost 4 weeks.  She has become a beautiful young woman.  Josie (age 17) will graduate from 7th grade this March and hopes to go on to high school in Davao, southern Philippines. Greg missed school last week because of Atlanta ice and felt so bad about that!  (not)  Mary Em starts up another ESL master's level course tomorrow and is becoming quite the student at middle age!  Grandmama Heard was able to spend a few days with us before and after Christmas.  Looking forward to seeing her the first weekend of February.  I (bob) am rich beyond words for these dear ones.

2010
Nov 25
Amy was able to share Tgiving dinner at Peter and Gwen Bollant's house in Dayton, along with a handful of other "m.k."s from the Philippines.  SO SWEET to have extended family!!!!!!!!!

Nov. 20
Ouch, no news in so long. Soooooo sorry.  Anyhow...
Mary Em continues unabated and unrivaled as the finest wife in history.  I'm infinitely blessed by her grace and truth as she reflects the Savior every day.  A recent highlight was having her mom come to spend a weekend with us; now I know where the sterling character comes from!
Amy C is in her 3rd year at Bryan in Tenn..  We were pumped to high heaven last weekend when she drove in for weekend visit!!!  Her Christmas break starts Dec. 17, so just 27 more days and we'll get to see her again.
Greg C just got his WONDERFUL report card from Branch Christian school.  We're so proud of him.  He could be a school principal some day!  (It'll take a bit more study after 6th grade, however.)

July 4th
Amy spent her birthday on Friday at Bryan college in Dayton.  Mary and Greg head to art camp in Birmingham tomorrow, while Amy heads to Orlando, then back to Bham to work fo two weeks at Dawson Baptist.  Good thing I'm home 'minding the store'.  Not.

June 28, 2010
We are so thankful for God's love for us as a family.  We are apart for these three weeks, but He is with us.  I (bob) regret that I wasn't with my dear kids for Dad's day, nor was I with Mary Em on her birthday 3 days ago, nor will I get back to the States in time for Amy's bday next week.  BUT we are each in the place He has for us now, and are doing His will.  THAT is success.  AND we look forward to the next time we're together, July 8th or 9th.

March 29, 2010
We've just updated our prayer page.  Pls check there for current family news.  Sorry that this page is pretty lame.  You'll just have to COME SEE US if you want lotsa current stuff.
God bless!!!!!!!!!!
bob

Aug. 4, '09 We moved to Atlanta to serve refugees.

MARCH 25, 2009 : Mary is with her mom in Monroeville, taking this week of prayer there while Bob is praying in Birmingham.  We're crying out to God to direct us in this next phase of serving Him.  We believe He has made us and called us to serve as cross-cultural ambassadors of His Kingdom.  We seek no other cause or calling.

We anticipate exiting our Birmingham apartment at the end of July 09.

Some prayer needs:

1. for Greg; that he would be healed of back pain, bad cough; and that he would continue to 'catch up' here in 4th grade at Hall-Kent public school in Homewood, AL.

2. for Amy; at Bryan College in Tenn; that she would continue to do so well in studies and college life; we're SO PROUD of her and look forward to seeing her again once the semester ends on May 8th.
3. for Bob; I'm struggling with over-eating (as you can see).  Pray that I'd transfer this voracious appetite to something of lasting value, like praying for others, praising God (so I'll have some experience doing it before day one in Heaven, etc.).
