                                  Christmas 2011 in Atlanta

Our Family: Bob, Mary, Amy, Greg!

Check out the Home page.  It's updated as of Feb. 9, 2012
Greg is doing well at Trikkum Middle School (public) just 7 minutes away...making good friends, seeing 'old' ones, and learning stuff too!
Amy is into her 2nd month of Student Teaching in Dayton, TN. area.  So sweet to have her home for the long Christmas break.
Mary Em is cruising along in women's ministry among refugees, as well as making great progress on her M.A. in ESL (corresp. through U. of Phoenix).  Superwoman!
What about Bob?  He's dubious about the stature of hitting 30 for the thirtieth time, but seems to be holding up well enough.

Summer: Greg enjoyed 3 camps: Basketball here in Lilburn in June, Bible/fun at Covenant College in TN in July, and soccer n softball camps in Wisc in July.
Aug. 8.  Greg started 7th grade!
Aug. 3-5 Mary, Amy n Greg got to visit grandmama Heard in Monroeville, AL.
July 31 Amy arrived back from NC just in time for Greg's bday in Atlanta.
July 2 We got to visit Amy on her birthday, at Ridgecrest camp in Montreat, N.C..
June 9 Amy arrived safely back from Manila.
June 1 PTL that Josie was welcomed into a wonderful foster home, thanks to the love of pastor Bogs Nartatez and family in Davao, Philippines.
May 27th Mary arrived safely back in Atlanta.  Yeah!  One of her tasks was to enroll Josie in high school and provide a Christian home for her to move to closer to the school.  God did it all, including providing a place and 'her own room' in a the home of pastor Bogs.
We're SO proud of Amy, helping out these last few weeks at Faith Academy in Manila.  Will be so glad to see her back home in Atlanta on June 9th.
May 25th Greg finished 6th grade.  Well done, dear Greg!
May 10 Mary and Amy left for Manila.
April 26  Amy was home for Easter break, 4 days, which we enjoyed immensely.  She has only 8 more days before she finishes school this term and is officially a SENIOR then.  God has worked out some pretty cool plans for her this summer, in the Philippines and then North Carolina.  Let us know if you want the scoop; bobmulloy4@yahoo.com
GREG received his report card yesterday.  It is truly stunning; he is doing so well!!!  His Bible teacher (Mrs. Meyer, the pastor's wife from 12 Stones fellowship) says he knows his Bible very well; he earned a 99 grade in her class this quarter, so we're VERY PROUD of him!!!
Mary Em is doing admirably on her M.A. courses in ESL.  We were proud to have her mom her for a few days over Palm Sunday weekend.

January 17
It was marvelous to have Amy home for Christmas, almost 4 weeks.  She has become a beautiful young woman.  Josie (age 17) will graduate from 7th grade this March and hopes to go on to high school in Davao, southern Philippines. Greg missed school last week because of Atlanta ice and felt so bad about that!  (not)  Mary Em starts up another ESL master's level course tomorrow and is becoming quite the student at middle age!  Grandmama Heard was able to spend a few days with us before and after Christmas.  Looking forward to seeing her the first weekend of February.  I (bob) am rich beyond words for these dear ones.

Nov 25
Amy was able to share Tgiving dinner at Peter and Gwen Bollant's house in Dayton, along with a handful of other "m.k."s from the Philippines.  SO SWEET to have extended family!!!!!!!!!

Nov. 20
Ouch, no news in so long. Soooooo sorry.  Anyhow...
Mary Em continues unabated and unrivaled as the finest wife in history.  I'm infinitely blessed by her grace and truth as she reflects the Savior every day.  A recent highlight was having her mom come to spend a weekend with us; now I know where the sterling character comes from!
Amy C is in her 3rd year at Bryan in Tenn..  We were pumped to high heaven last weekend when she drove in for weekend visit!!!  Her Christmas break starts Dec. 17, so just 27 more days and we'll get to see her again.
Greg C just got his WONDERFUL report card from Branch Christian school.  We're so proud of him.  He could be a school principal some day!  (It'll take a bit more study after 6th grade, however.)

July 4th
Amy spent her birthday on Friday at Bryan college in Dayton.  Mary and Greg head to art camp in Birmingham tomorrow, while Amy heads to Orlando, then back to Bham to work fo two weeks at Dawson Baptist.  Good thing I'm home 'minding the store'.  Not.

June 28, 2010
We are so thankful for God's love for us as a family.  We are apart for these three weeks, but He is with us.  I (bob) regret that I wasn't with my dear kids for Dad's day, nor was I with Mary Em on her birthday 3 days ago, nor will I get back to the States in time for Amy's bday next week.  BUT we are each in the place He has for us now, and are doing His will.  THAT is success.  AND we look forward to the next time we're together, July 8th or 9th.

March 29, 2010
We've just updated our prayer page.  Pls check there for current family news.  Sorry that this page is pretty lame.  You'll just have to COME SEE US if you want lotsa current stuff.
God bless!!!!!!!!!!

Aug. 4, '09 We moved to Atlanta to serve refugees.

MARCH 25, 2009 : Mary is with her mom in Monroeville, taking this week of prayer there while Bob is praying in Birmingham.  We're crying out to God to direct us in this next phase of serving Him.  We believe He has made us and called us to serve as cross-cultural ambassadors of His Kingdom.  We seek no other cause or calling.

We anticipate exiting our Birmingham apartment at the end of July 09.

Some prayer needs:

1. for Greg; that he would be healed of back pain, bad cough; and that he would continue to 'catch up' here in 4th grade at Hall-Kent public school in Homewood, AL.

2. for Amy; at Bryan College in Tenn; that she would continue to do so well in studies and college life; we're SO PROUD of her and look forward to seeing her again once the semester ends on May 8th.
3. for Bob; I'm struggling with over-eating (as you can see).  Pray that I'd transfer this voracious appetite to something of lasting value, like praying for others, praising God (so I'll have some experience doing it before day one in Heaven, etc.).
