Sept. 1, 2019.  I am so, so sorry for not keeping up w this page.  Anyhow....pls pray for us tomor as M.Em and I leave on a two week ministry trip in 4 states.  Not looking forward to the travel itself; praying to be blessed and a blessing.

Dec. 5, 2018 Still needing prayer for Juan's sister, Alma.  Not sure if she will survive, but the LORD knows and intimately cares.  We're praying.
PLS pray also for Greg who leaves this Saturday, the 9th, for Mexico to serve a couple weeks with YWAM; then on to Puerto Rico for a month, returning to Denver in early February to finish off his five months of discipleship training school.
GOD ANSWERED THESE PRAYERS WONDERFULLY, inclu.:
1. Alma not only recovered FULLY from the car accident, but since then has been blessed by our great God with a dear husband and baby;
2. Greg had a great trip to Puerto Rico and was baptized there as well.

Oct. 1 Regarding the safe and sane arrival of friends, from here, who traveled 60 hours this weekend, general news is: We were able to get all bags in and customs cleared all bags without issue. 2 Tom was able to get all bags ready to ship tomorrow and all was smooth at the air cargo office. 3. Boys and tom have slept well and are behaving well and enjoying things they forgot about our 'second' home here. 4.  He is already answering one of our requests. One request was access into the M community . We met a M background believer tonight here in ............   She is the only M believer we have ever met in this demographic.  She gave some good insights on reaching the mixed community in here and is willing to come visit us as well ..

9/28 God is wonderfully answering prayers, as always.  Let me know if you're interested in How HE is doing that. Email:  bobmulloy4@yahoo.com

Sept. 28, 2017 Homepage updates JULY 7, 2016.  Pls pray for dear friend, Tom Spainhour; (short blurb on home page).
ALSO, many of God's people will be in DC on Saturday, July 16th...seeking God's clear guidance for our country.  Mary and I won't be able to get there, but will be praying at home.  Want to join us?!  Or pray where you are.  AMERICA needs help now!

Pls pray for a job for Greg....or clear guidance about doing a 'gap year' at Look Up Lodge (SC.) or YWAM Music DTS (CO.).  Update: Greg opted for SC and completed the SC training.  On Sept. 11, 2017, he headed to YWAM Denver.

June 20 Registered 12 youth at Proskuneo's art camp in Clarkson...from Burma, Congo, Central Afr Rep, Mexico, Honduras.  GREAT JOB BY Josh Davis team Korean young adults from Open Door church in Virginia.
JUNE 19 Dad's Day was the best: back to VWC this a.m. to worship, then Amy/Juan's for fab curry lunch, then to Comer.  Did a Ps. 23 song at Jubilee Partners fellowship.  Back to Lilburn to catch the Cavs beat the Warriors; amazing example of commitment: Lebron James, and his rightful confession (2x) that 'the Man Above' was gracious to them.
June 18 Bob drove to Montgomery,AL. to meet Mary/Greg for lunch. We exchanged some Dad's day stuff; fun! He gave me a wood carving of 1 Peter 5:7.
LOVED every second of Victory World Church (Norcross) with Congo guests Sam n Chris who are staying w us for a week.
June 4 Our friend,Jean Claude Kibaba, left Iowa today to return to the Congo refugee camp where he was raised.  Needs boldness in sharing Life there this month.
June 3.  The last few days:trainwreck; we have tried our 'inspired' best to lead our crackerjack protege (pls forgive circumlocuting) thru a fog of listlessness and zilch deference to those to whom it is due. Yesterday was sweet in celebrating 'gotcha' day. Yet it seemed best this aft to coordinate a change in domicile.    It was much harder for spouse n I.  Fortunately for the adolescent, the red carpet was spread abroad by a nearby African family that is very dear to us.  Pls pray:
1. for a willingness to investigate wage acquisition opps;  for a passion to seek our Maker.
2. for mom's heart; to rest in the providence of our good, good Father.
3. for dad's creativity in maintaining and enhancing fam relationships; for untiring commitment to prayer.

SUMMER is a high risk-season for refugee teens in Clarkston.  No money, but lots of danger and free time.  Pls pray.

May 5  Pls pray for
a. our dear son Greg that the Lord will clearly lead him in this next stage of life.  Looking for a music internship. Seems like Rockford First church would be a good match.  Needing to hear their final answer in the next week or so.
b. Bob; seeking the Lord about a possible trip to Wisc. on May 9-13.
c. Mary and I need to get to the Mexico border asap to help out;maybe the first week of June?
d. healing of nephew Justin's elbow that was hurt bigtime.
e. Asylum visa for 12 yr. old "R" from Honduras.
f. pastor Marc n Nancy Erickson to finish well in Bethlehem, and have a non-eventful flight back to Milwaukee on June 1st.
g. Jobs for two Iranians friends here; both are skilled workers, in welding and diesel mechanics.
h. World Relief worker, Pete, needs to find a home to buy in Lilburn area.
i. Healing for dear friend, Dey Cowles, in Sheboygan.
j. Preparation for our friend, Cheri Meyer, heading to Rwanda in June; marvelous experience there.

January 13,  2016.  SORRY for not updating this.  So many prayer needs, including my friend Chris K in Milwaukee getting a kidney TODAY. Pls join us in prayer for that.  Also:
1. Mary's mom in Mville; they're together this week.  Seeing a doc for test results in this aft. for gma.
2. Greg in brrr Wisc.; to stay warm, healthy and serving strong at Riverside camp.
3. Bob's foot ulcer is slowly healing.
4. Learning more daily about Jubilee Partners and other ministries serving refugees.  Thanking God for them, especially the leaders Don n Carolyn.  They and team have provided housing and ESL for over 3000 refugees since 1980.  Faithful warrriors.

Nov. 28th.  All went well for Juan at Immigration, PTL.
Nov. 22 Juan fly to Dallas on schedule yesterday and will catch a 12:30 a.m bus tonight to El Paso, then tomor morning cross over to Juarez.  His dad will meet him and they'll embrace for the first time in 11 years.  Please pray that Juan will have a wonderful and fruitful reunion with his family there and be able to head back in to El Paso at 8 a.m. on Satur Nov. 28th.
Juan will begin working at Victory World Church here in Atlanta on Dec. 1st; pray for him to get another part time job as well.
UNfortunately, Bob had to postpone his Juarez trip because of a couple major hurdles.  That's disappointing, but it's an opportunity to focus on refugee evangelism this Thanksgiving season.

Nov. 4.  PTL that Bob is able to teach the Word now on an almost daily basis to refugees and immigrants.
PTL that Greg has a job extension (note two paragraphs below), Juan has his papers, and Mary Em's mom (Mrs. Heard) will be definitely moving to Atlanta to live with us.  This will be a huge privilege for my family!
Bob will be headed to YWAM Juarez for Thanksgiving week to help out at an orphanage there.  Still not sure about Mindanao this year anymore; need clarity on that.  For some reason, his bod doesn't work as well since he turned 30 (2x).

Pls pray for Juan's job interview at Victory World church on Nov. 9th.

Oct. 21 Pls pray that the Dept of Immigration will grant "advance parole" to Juan; his sister Alma received hers yesterday.  This allows them to return to Mexico and enter the USA with documentation to begin steps to citizenship.  They plan to see their family in Juarez on Nov. 23 through 28th.  UPDATE: PTL, they received a positive response to their 'advance parole' letter to Dept. of Immig.  Pls pray for Juan, Alma, and I as we reenter USA (ElPaso) about 6 a.m. on Satur. Nov. 28th...that the Texas border agents will be respectful to the federal permission that Juan/Alma have in hand which allows them to enter the USA.

Oct. 13 to Nov. 6 Pray that Greg serves well and learns much at Riverside Bible Camp in Amherst, WI.  NOV. 4 UPDATE: Greg is doing well and is able to keep working there thru mid Feb.; then possibly starting in April for a year.
Please keep praying for Danielle.  As of early October, she's still needing prayer bigtime!
Aug. 17.  Please pray for:
1. Danielle Curtis; in a Milwaukee hospital.  Fighting cancer, being mom to 4 newly adopted kids. Pray for husband Ray too; we don't want him to be pulling out all his hair and be looking like Bob!
2. Scott and Janet Willis; serving courageously this week in Israel.
3. Greg; that he'll access a one year internship, possibly at a Wiscon camp;
4. Amy; at her first day of work today for a Crisis Response company. THE WEDDING was glorious!!!!  ALL YOU facebook folks have seen the photos!
5. Em, dear wife!  Being a blessing to Mama in Monroeville.
6. Mama Heard; new energy!
7. Mom Mulloy; she's had two rough days and missed the fam reuni yesterday :(
8. Juan; dear son in law.  Blessing us and anybody who wants to hear his Sweet Surrender and other gospel raps.
9. For Ramona in Honduras; needs full healing after 2nd surgery two months ago.
10. For another 'R' in same country.  Trying to get a USA visa.  She witnessed the murder of her mom and 4 bros over a year ago.

APRIL;  PTL: our friend/bro/neighbor Norm Chacon is now on his legal pathway to residency.  He's taken all the right steps through DACA opportunities, including leaving the States two weeks ago, and coming back in with all required documents.  It wasn't a slam dunk.  I'm proud to be an American when I see that some government agencies are still abiding by existing laws.

March 31: Pray for Sheboygan's own Sam Dekker this Saturday, Apr. 3, starting about 8.45 pm.  He's playing in the NCAA bball SEMIS for Wisconsin.  As a believer, he desires to be a sterling witness for Christ, win or lose.  Update: they beat KY, but lost in the finals to Duke.  Ptl that Sam was a witness for Christ regardless of the score of a sports event.  100 years from now no one will remember who won the game; everyone will remember how Sam played it...with all his heart, for Christ.

JAN. 28, 2015
Pls pray with us for a 65 yr. old woman, Ramona, in Honduras.  She was hit by a cycle in July, and sustained compound fractures in her left leg.  She finally had it set and treated ten days ago, but has a serious infection.  She's nonetheless delighted at the possibility of walking again. UPDATE ON MARCH 31: additional funds have been raised for her second surgery, PTL.; pls pray it can be this week, and a success!
Pray also for a young boy who will have a court hearing in Birmingham this Friday the 30th.  Relatives have threatened to remove him from his family because of extremist philosophic opinions. Update: the judge graciously ruled that the boy could remain in the States.  Hoping for an adoptive fam in Bham; otherwise he'll be living in a group home in Atlanta.
PRAY also for a 9 yr. old girl named 'Maria' whose mom and 3 brothers were killed by Central Amer drug-runners a year ago.  Hoping to get her extradited soon.  Bob has been asked to advocate at the USA embassy there to bring her out.  Update: Steps are in place to bring her out this new moon.  Need prayer for safety and emotional healing.  Bob not sure as of this writing if able to get to that embassy, but will at least write an official appeal.  Key prayer dates are the week after Easter.

Oct. 21, 2014 Pray for God to touch Honduras like no other place and time in history.  The enemy is entrenched so deeply.  One gang calls itself "18", taken from satan's numeric mark of 666, per the book of Revelation, the last book of the New Testament.
Pray espec fo three people that remain on my heart (having spent just a week there):
1. a book with a rock lodged in his ear;
2. a woman with a compound leg fracture suffered in a car accident three months ago; she needs $4000. for surgery; she doesn't have a dime;
3. a new believer that I'm code naming "O".  He has over a dozen scars as reminders of a gang attack, using machetes.  They left him for dead, but the Almighty has bigger plans.  Plan that O will remain healthy, continue to share the gospel boldly, and have regular employment and not fall back into his old lifestyle.

Nov. 30, 2013.  Not one waking hour has passed since Nov. 8th...that I didn't think of the Philippines in the light of the massive typhoon that hit then.  Seven million people rendered homeless in 30 seconds of time. Only the Almighty can heal survivors in body and soul.  May each of us be responsive to however He leads us to respond.  It just takes a day to get there.  They are our neighbors.

March 25
Thank you for praying for Mary to beat her cancer; she is.  God seems to be signaturing our PEN strategy (heartfelt
Prayer, diligent Exercise, radical Nutrition).  Though each component is vital, I gotta give the most credit to prayer to Jehovah Rapha, the healer.  He's not rocking out cavalierly wondering what will happen; He hears and answers.  In
fact, as I was serving lunch to over 40 immigrants today, two people came up to me saying their young children are praying for Mary every day.  We all need dozens of really old and really young people praying for us.

Just a reminder...God loved us to death.  That's the bittersweetness of the worst day in History: good friday.   Believe and receive that you are infintely, intimately loved.  It's true. And you can't keep the living God down.  He rose on the 3rd day.  Risen indeed! Pass it on

JANUARY 5.  THANK YOU for praying:

--for continued needs in my family, especially Mary Em; for healing from cancer;
--that God will clearly lead Amy in the next step of life; so GLAD she's home with us;

--for Greg to continue to improve as a member of a worship team that leads 100+ teens in worship at his public school once a week; that he will continue to get good grades in school, and that he will learn well especially in social studies class;
--for Mary's mom to heal up from the flu;
--for dear Josie in Davao, that she will learn well and continue to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord;
--for Bob; that he will walk with the Lord daily and gain all the wisdom needed for important use of time, especially in pastoral counseling for international refugees;

--for our friend Emmanuel Manishimwe, a recent immigrant from Ruwanda who has endured much suffering for over twenty years; recently he was waiting for a light to turn green when he was rear-ended; he's suffering from whiplash; as a computer technician, he's looking for a job in this field. We're also looking for used computers that perhaps he could upgrade (whatever) and sell to other immigrants.  Pls let us know if you can help in this way.

August 27.  So many friends are carrying such heavy burdens that aren't going away.  We need to pray daily for these.
One brother, Jan Cowles, is in need of faithful prayer every hour.  He has stage 4 lung cancer, with increased pain and nausea for the past 3 months, though it goes back over a year.  He's had several courses of treatment.  Presently he's on Coumadin to break up a blood clot in his heart.  Pls pray for success in that; then his doctor can renew cancer treatment.  Other doctors have said "impossible", but God doesn't have that word in His vocabulary.  Pls pray with us.  Email me at bobmulloy4@yahoo.com if you can pray and want to receive updates.

July 2, 2012...Amy's bday!  Yay, Amy, you survived college.  That's a good birthday present right there.  We love you and are SOOOO proud of you.

I, bob, need prayer these remaining 4 days of 18 in Asia, especially beginning at 5pm Friday, July 5, Atlanta time, when I'll board my plane in Manila for about 24 hrs.

PLS pray for our dear daughter, Amy, for:
1. healing in her knee;
2. the Lord's clear direction for work; she's seeking a job as a teacher's assistant for grades 1-3. She's also an awesome photographer. Her resume can be accessed by http://amymulloyportfolio.weebly.com/

M

Also...
July 2nd: pls pray for 9 teens that came to Christ today; that their roots would go deep into God's word; and that they'll glad show up for baptism class next Sunday, and for the next 4 weeks.

June 23; 9.30 pm.
Pls pray for Mary, Amy, and Greg in Atlanta, especially that:
1. Mary will have fun hosting her bday luncheon on Monday;
2. Amy will see God's hand in getting a job that is well suited for her;
3. Greg will enjoy being 'the man of the house' in my absence;
Also, for
my mom in Wisc; for healing of a small part on her face;
my mama in Alabama; for healing of her injured wrist.

Pray for my ministry here in Manila through July 5th.  My plans, once again, are not His, so I'm once again in place to share the gospel with medical people throughout this great city.  On my first full day here, June 21st, I was able to share His love in two different hospitals.  Pray that I can do this with great joy and lasting fruit.
Need prayer also for lithotripsy procedure tomorrow at 7 a.m Manila time (Satur. 6/23 Atlanta time, 7pm) to knock out a pesky k-stone measuring 1/4 inch that no way would bring happiness if it decides to travel south in a tunnel that's less than 1/32nd of an inch, designed just for liquid!
Picture

June 18.  Prior to leaving from the States to Manila, Norm (above photo) asked me to pray for his mother in law, Estella, just diagnosed with cancer.  Pls join us in crying to God for healing.
March 29 Norm is doing better; still needs prayer for total healing.  Pls pray too for Mary's literacy student, Martha Joram, a Sudanese friend; she headed for Southern Sudan today for a month.  It'll be the first time in 15 years that she's been able to see her family in Africa.
Feb. 18.  PLEASE pray for Norman, our next door neighbor, dear friend, and brother.  He belongs to God, and knows that his true home is Heaven.  In September, he had a brain tumor removed, but his headaches are back for the past two months; as of yesterday, another medical test shows additional challenges that will need a miracle for healing.  God does this all the time.  Pls pray that today will be Norm's time.
Feb. 9, 2012
Once again, we're approaching a crossroads in our ministry.    Pls pray that we will have wisdom to decide well.

Also, several close friends have major health needs; pls pray with us for:
1. Mrs. Carol Lord, in Birmingham.  She was Greg's elem. school principal for a year there.  Pray that she will totally recover from a car accident.
2. Jan Cowles, my dear bro in Denver; needs to be DONE WITH cancer.
3. Mrs. Charlotte Pulfrey; recovering from recent surgery in Bham where docs 'practiced' medicine, but blew it big time.
4. my sis in Wisc, (Mary Depiesse) who fell a couple weeks ago and royally messed up her left wrist; lots of pain, etc.. Needing stiches to get OUT on Tues. Feb. 14.  Pray for healing and effective therapy.

Dec. 29.  Pray for friends who think they need to get drunk then drive on Dec. 31st.
Also, pls pray for Amy as she starts her 'Student Teaching' practicum on January 9th.
Dec. 6  HI friends.  In our short term mission trips to RGBI in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas, I found a kindred spirit in pastor Franc Ortega, formerly employed in the printshop at the Bible institute.  I received the following email from him yesterday, requesting prayer for his dear wife.  Please stand with us for this family.
"... The reason for this note is to kindly request your prayers concerning my dear wife, Mary Ortega. Although her severe headaches somewhat subsided for a couple of weeks, they are back in full force. They are sharp and have remained for the past two weeks, daily and throughout night and day. She has already seen two doctors. They have ordered blood work but they are still inconclusive as to the reason. Now they have referred her over to a neurologist and we are trying to push up her December 30th appointment to anything sooner. The added concern is a tingling on her finger tips of both hands. She’s already got an appointment at MD Anderson set for Dec. 13. We are hoping for a good birthday for her on Dec. 22. Eternally grateful to you, Franc Ortega.  Romans 11:36" (Dec. 29 update: Mary is doing better, but still needs prayer for total healing.)
Nov. 28th: please check out my home page to get prayer needs, especially for Carlyle.
Also, pls pray for Amy as she spends a week in BIRMINGHAM,AL., in mid-December seeking job opportunties in education (effective June 2012).
Hey friends, I'm headed to Asia tomor a.m. (oct. 20th).  Pls pray that I will be a bold, celebrative, and fruitful witness as well as effective evangelism trainer to 200+ M workers there.  Back in USA, Lord willing, by November.
  (Nov. 27: the trip was amazing, strengthening local believers to stand in grace and truth in challenging communities.)
Sept 17.  So sorrrrry for being so behind on this page.  Some urgent needs for prayer are victims of cancer that God has brought to us, including:
a. our next door neighbor, Norm.  Doctors double-checked his heart which they suspected had a problem, but they determined this week that his heart is great.  Please pray that his brain tumor will disappear.  Oct. 19th update: surgery went well two weeks ago; needs full healing and able to get back to work by Nov. 1st.  Nov. 27 update: doing well, able to work some; still has headaches.
b. Zayda, our 6 year old friend, whose parents are Honduran.  Her condition is similar to Norm's. Oct. 19th update: she's on meds; hopefully, prayerfully they'll work.  IF not, she'll need to get an MRI in Honduras in December and her family can't afford the USA price tag to get it done.
c. our LEI colleague of 15 years, Lolly, needs prayer.
d. my 50 yr. bud, Jan Cowles.  Oct. 19th update: he just started his second round of chemo.  Needs healing from cancer in lung and liver.

Sept. 12 Pls pray for my friend "M" as he seeks Gods' guidance re: continued ministry in closed countries.
May 28th.  Praise God that Mary got in safely from Manila last night.
PLS pray with us for
1. guidance in important decisions this week;
2. Amy, in her last week of the semester at Faith Academy in Manila;she's a marvelous 'sub' during that crunch time; pray too for her visit to Davao for a few days on June 2, then back to USA on June 9th.
May 14.  Please pray for:
1. David and Martha, Sudanese who are losing their home this month; can't make payments.
2. Leticia, who has cancer.  The treatments (injections) damaged her liver, so they were stopped.  Also, her veins are now damaged.  She also lost her home two weeks ago.
3. Louisiana 'neighbors', up to 25,000 that will have their land/homes flooded this weekend. If it were 'an act of God', some could have insurance payments.  But because the Army Corps of Engineers is doing it, no insurance. (per USA today, May 14th).  PRAY that all these dear rural and small town people who ardently and wholeheartedly put their trust and hope in Christ alone who rose from the dead.

May 11; Mary and Amy arrived safely in Manila.  Amy will be serving at Faith Academy in Manila (her alma mater) to finish out the school year as substitute teacher.  Mary will be gone only 18 days, primarily to finish off the jobs I left undone during my Feb. visit.  Please pray for their safety in travel and fruitfulness in service.

April 26 I'm embarrassed that I've made so few entries on this page, and so seldom.  FORGIVE ME, those of you who love to pray, knowing that your heart can move God's heart Who holds the hearts of kings (and everyone) in His massive hands.
SOME PRAISES:
1. We invested a lot in Easter and preparations.  God was good to use us to see people come to Christ and be radically changed, forever.
2. During our Easter supper here at home, we hosted refugees from Iraq and Congo, as well as Hispanic immigrants.  Elodi (from Congo) asked that we pray for her job application the next day (Monday the 25th); we did, God answered!  She got it. This is HUGE for her, since she lost so much (inclu. health) in the January fire.
PRAYER NEEDS:
I'm being selfish about these...though they're urgent this week!
1. I have an eating disorder.  I really want to get this under control.  It doesn't help that my dear spouse loves to cook and excels at it!  I can't blame her though for 5 and 6 helpings of stuff that I pack away.
2. We need wisdom in the next 4 days, as we must tell our landlord on Satur, Apr 30, if we will continue to rent here after June 30th.  We don't WANT to move, but are willing to.  We have shared gospel invitations numerous times with our neighbors and thankfully some have come to Christ.  Maybe it's time to move in order to sow seed where others here in Atlanta still haven't experienced an incarnate, gospel witness.  Our present house is also 30 minutes from Greg's school, so we're trying to use our resources of time, energy, finances, etc. in the best possible way.
March 16
This is not meant to be a cop-out...but prayer can make a difference NOW...somehow...to the desperate survivors of the Japan tsunami.  The situation seems hopeless in some areas.  It would take a miracle a minute to keep people alive and return them to good health and the happy routines of life, like drinking a glass of clean water, breathing fresh air, staying warm on a cold day, etc...
January 17
Though we are incontrovertibly honored to share life with refugees, we are grieved to meet so many 'on the edge', including Elodi whose apartment was gutted by fire last night.
Pastor Enrique (Hondurian) and I enjoyed a burrito lunch today, after which he showed me photos of his three young kids that he hasn't seen in ten years.  He has residency in American, but his wife and children aren't able to get visas.  He pastors Iglesia Uncion Divina which shares its building with Open Table EFC in Chamblee.  Though he's worked in construction here the past 8 years, he resigned his job last month in order to do home visitation daily and street evangelism.  In the weekly Hispanic newspaper in Chamblee (La Vision), there is a full page ad of eight witches in Chamblee, but no ads of any church.  Buford highway is truly international and truly dark.  Pray that we may pierce the darkness together.

I (bob) will be headed to LEI Tulsa on Jan. 23-25 for annual strategy planning sessions.  Pray that we will hear from the Lord, and for safety for Mary and Greg here in Atlanta.

Nov. 28 While interacting with refugees this week, it struck me again how desperate life can be for those families who have no income.  We're privileged to serve as volunteers with World Relief here once again, and are so glad that three WR employees work fulltime in trying to find jobs for refugees.  But many more jobs are needed.  Please pray with us about this.  The temptations for quick and BIG bucks through prostitution and drug-dealing are readily available to many refugees.  The darkness is strong.  Pray that the light and life of Christ will shine even stronger.
Nov. 27 Thankyou for praying for our Thanksgiving dinners today.  We were able to host/feed/bless and generally goof off with about 70 refugees today from Burma, Nepal, Sudan and other countries.  It was a privilege to love them in Jesus name.  We couldn't provide a full Thanksgiving Dinner for everybody, but we sure had a ton of fun in games and other activities that fed hearts.

Nov. 26
THANKyou for praying for our Texas-Mexico travels these past 7 days.  All went well.  We were able to share Christ with many people, as well as challenge some to serve God fulltime.
